Most of what makes a site findable is invisible. URL structure, schema markup, image weight, alt text, the order things load in. It's foundational work, so it goes in from day one, not after the fact.

The site is built on Squarespace because Squarespace stays out of the way. No security patches to chase. No plugin conflicts to debug. No annual rebuild because the platform you launched on isn't the platform you're running on. The work goes into the site, not into keeping it from falling over.

I've been building websites and online stores for over a decade, and I still love doing it. AUSTIN_SPACE is where all of that comes together under my own approach.
Most of which was in the music and merchandise industry. The work spanned the whole pipeline, from design and product work through to backend systems and marketing. We routinely had high-pressure launches for big acts and artists on immovable deadlines. Following that I spent two years as a Project Manager at an amazing eCommerce agency.
